The concept

Five years of drilling. Bring the well in.

Wellhead stages the day on a rig floor. A drilling log runs down the wall with one depth per year, every graduate gets a hard hat and a barrel label with their name, and the day ends with 'first oil': a barrel tapped and poured for everyone.

It's for petroleum and mining students who've been on site in the heat. The palette is crude black, sand and a hard-hat orange.

Identity

A barrel label and a depth mark.

A barrel label and drilling-log system — well, depth, grade, spud date — supplied editable in English and Arabic.

A depth number per person and a four-page guide on the one rule: orange is safety, never decoration.
