The concept

Years of watching the numbers. Wake the cohort up.

Vital Signs stages the day as a night in intensive care. Every graduate has an obs chart at the foot of their 'bed' — heart rate, pressure, sats, sleep — written by friends, the monitor bay shows the whole cohort stable, and at the end everyone is woken up and discharged together.

It's for anaesthesia and ICU residents, who are the calmest people in any emergency. The palette is ICU teal, chart white and one alarm amber.

An observation-chart system in Arabic — bed, pulse, pressure, sats, notes — supplied editable with an English version.

A bed number per person and a four-page guide on the one rule: amber is an alarm, and nobody's is on.
