The concept

Years of the busiest room in the hospital. Clear the board.

Triage stages the day as a night in the emergency department. Everyone is triaged at the door with a coloured band, the board tracks every graduate from 'waiting' to 'seen', and the shift ends when the board is clear and the sliding doors close.

It's for emergency medicine residents, who eat standing up. The palette is ED navy, board white and the triage colours used on the bands only.

A board slot per person and a four-page guide on the one rule: triage colours are for bands, never decoration.

Arabic line الطوارئ means “emergency”
