The concept

Five years of saying “open wide.” Now say it to the room.

Open Wide turns the day into the clinic. A reception desk hands out appointment cards, a dental chart on the wall has one tooth per person, the waiting room has a numbered queue display, and names are called in one by one to the chair for the photo.

It's precise and clean, because dentistry students notice alignment. The palette is clinic teal, enamel white and one mint green for the ‘all clear’.

Identity

An appointment card and a tooth number.

An appointment card system — patient, tooth number, time, clinician — used on name cards, the chart and the queue display, supplied editable in English and Arabic.

A tooth-number set in FDI notation, one per person, and a four-page guide on keeping everything aligned to one grid.

Photography

Twelve shots, in order, for a bright white room.

White coats and white walls blow out on phones, so the list shoots with the light behind the camera: portraits in the chair under the lamp, the chart being signed, the queue display changing.

A grade preset that keeps whites clean and teal from going blue.

One 45-second edit anybody can cut on a phone.
