The concept

Five years of planning other people's cities. Plan yours.

Master Plan stages the day as the planning of a new city. A huge plan on the floor has a plot for every graduate, who zones it and builds on it with card blocks, a 'public hearing' lets friends object and approve, and the master plan is stamped approved at the end.

It's for urban planning students who have opinions about every street in Cairo. The palette is planning grey-blue, map white and zoning colours used for zones only.

Identity

A plot-and-zoning system in Arabic — plot, zone, use, height — supplied editable with an English version.

A plot number per person and a four-page guide on the one rule: zone colours mark zones, and nothing else.

Arabic line المخطط العام means “the master plan”
