The concept

Years of tracing pathways. Connect the cohort.

Grey Matter stages the day as a grand round. A pathway runs the length of the wall from 'first year' to 'graduation', every graduate is a node along it, a reflex hammer at the door gets everyone in, and at the end a signal — a squeeze of hands down a line — travels through the whole cohort.

It's for neurology and neurosurgery residents and students. The palette is cortex grey-blue, scan white and one signal yellow.

Identity

A pathway and a node.

A pathway diagram system — node, tract, signal — used on the wall, the programme and name tags, supplied editable in English and Arabic.

A node number per person and a four-page guide on the one rule: yellow is the signal, and it moves in one direction.
