Two chairs, a clock and fifty minutes. Graduates sit with each other in pairs, the timer runs, and what gets said stays in the room — except the one line each person writes down after.

The concept

Six years of listening. Sit down for fifty minutes.

Fifty Minutes builds the day around the session hour. Pairs of chairs around the room, a visible clock, and a rota: everybody sits with somebody they never properly talked to. When the timer goes, each person writes one line about the other and posts it into a box. The lines are read out at the end, unsigned.

It's the quieter psychiatry realm, and it works for a cohort that's already close. Consulting-room brown, paper cream and one muted olive.

Identity

A session slip and a clock face.

A session-slip system — session, time, with whom, one line — supplied editable in English and Arabic.

A slip number per person and a four-page guide on the one rule: what's said in the chair stays there.
