The concept

Every drawing you were proudest of got marked and put in a drawer. This hangs them.

Blueprint Hours stages your day as a final crit with the judging removed. Drawings pinned in a proper grid down a corridor, a scale model of the faculty building on a plinth in the middle, drafting tables set up as workstations, and a rejected-iterations wall where the versions nobody ever saw get hung at the same size as the finals.

The palette is blueprint blue and drafting white with a graphite line. It is the one realm built for corridors and studio spaces rather than courtyards, which is where architecture students actually lived.

Identity

A title block. Everything on the day is a drawing that needs one.

A title-block system — project, scale, drawn by, checked by, revision — that goes on every printed thing, from the drawings to the sandwich labels. It is the joke and the identity at once.

A drawing-number set (A-101, A-102…) used for people as well as sheets, so each person is a drawing number for the day, and a four-page guide covering line weights, because architecture students will notice.

Chalk-line a real grid down the corridor before anything goes up. Drawings hung on a grid read as an exhibition; drawings hung by eye read as a noticeboard.

Chipboard and foamcore at 1:200, built by whoever in the group is fastest with a scalpel. It sits on the plinth all day and goes to the department afterwards.

Photography

Twelve shots, in order, for corridor light.

Corridors are long and badly lit, so the list is built on the pin-up grid as a repeating pattern and on the model as the one object with real depth.

Each shot has a framing sketch, a phone setting, and a note on shooting straight-on — architecture photographs badly at an angle and everyone in the room will know.

Video

One 45-second edit anybody can cut on a phone.

A single walking shot down the pin-up grid, cut with close work on hands drawing and the model being finished.

Titles as transparent PNG sequences set in the title block, plus a CapCut structure guide for holding a steady walking shot on a phone.
