The concept

Five years of hardware. Power the board.

Bill of Materials stages the day as a bring-up. A giant printed circuit board covers the table with one footprint per graduate, each person places their own component as they arrive, and when the last one is seated the board is powered and an LED strip lights the whole room.

It's for computer and systems engineers, who know the difference between it compiling and it working. The palette is solder-mask green, silkscreen white and a copper orange.

Identity

A reference designator and a BOM line.

A bill-of-materials layout — ref, part, value, qty — used on name cards, the board and the programme, supplied editable.

A reference designator per person (U1, R26, C12) and a four-page guide on the one rule: copper marks a pad, never decoration.

Arabic line البورد نور means “the board lit up”
