The concept

You spent four years learning to read a company. Publish one about yourselves.

Balance Sheet runs the day as an AGM. A real printed annual report covering the cohort's four years — headcount, all-nighters, group projects survived, coffee spend — share certificates issued to every member, a board table long enough for everyone, and a chair's address given by whoever the group votes for that morning.

The joke works because the format is exact. Palette is ledger green and paper with a stamped red used only for the seal.

Identity

A financial statement, set properly. Rules, columns, no decoration.

A statement grid — ruled columns, aligned figures, footnote marks — used on the report, the certificates and the agenda. It has to be typeset correctly or the whole joke collapses.

A share certificate lockup with a seal, a member number per person, and a four-page guide covering figure alignment, which is the only thing that matters here.

Trestles in a hollow square with plates, agendas and water at every seat. Everyone sits; nobody stands at the back. That is the entire staging.

Photography

Twelve shots, in order, for a formal room.

Board tables photograph well from a height and badly from a seat, so the list starts with one elevated wide and works inward to hands, plates, and the report open on the table.

Plus a grade preset pair that keeps the green from reading as grey under hall lighting.

Video

One 45-second edit anybody can cut on a phone.

The chair's address intercut with pages of the report and the vote by show of hands.

Titles as transparent PNG sequences in the statement grid, plus a CapCut guide for recording a speech in a hall without a lapel mic.
