The class classified. Every graduate gets a species of their own, written on a museum label by friends, a tree of life shows where everyone sits, and the whole class is named as a new species at the end.

The concept

Kingdom, phylum, class. You know which one you are.

Animalia runs the day as a natural history museum. Every graduate is assigned an animal by their friends — the owl who studied at night, the camel who never needed water during exams — and gets a museum label with a Latin-ish binomial name. A tree of life on the backdrop sorts the class into branches, and the day ends with the cohort formally described as a new species, with a type specimen photo.

It's for zoology students who've dissected a frog, a rat and a dogfish and still wanted more. The palette is museum brown, label cream and one leaf green for the branches.

Identity

A museum label and a branch.

A species-label lockup — genus, species, locality, described by — in Arabic and English, with the department code as the genus. Supplied editable.

A small branch mark per graduate and a four-page guide to the one rule: green is the tree and nothing else.
