Every graduate is a colony on one giant petri dish. A plate the size of a table, culture labels for everyone, a growth curve of the class, and a sealed dish signed and kept.

The concept
Four years of watching things grow overnight. You did too.
Agar lays the class out on one enormous petri dish: a round table covered in a printed agar plate, where every graduate's colony is a circle with their name, drawn by friends. A growth curve on the wall tracks the class from lag phase in first year to the plateau at graduation, and the day closes with a real sealed dish signed by everyone.
It's for microbiology and biotechnology students who have smelt an incubator room and still came back the next day. The palette is agar green, plate-glass white and one stain violet for the names.

Identity
A culture label and a colony mark.
A culture-label lockup — strain, medium, incubation, date — in Arabic and English, with the department code as the strain name. Supplied editable.
A colony circle per graduate and a four-page guide to the one rule: violet is the stain and the names, nothing else.
